Darren Whitney is an accomplished energetic woodwind educator teaching saxophone, flute, and clarinet for all ages beginner to expert. Lessons are fun yet focused on learning the fundamentals of technique of the instrument as well as reading music and improvisation. Darren strives to help the student at his own pace with these different elements so that the student can benefit in their lives from the joy of learning a musical instrument.

He is also a veteran saxophone performer playing in the Greater Portland area for more than three decades now.
