Richard Corson

Personal Experience

Richard has been a full-time guitar teacher for over 20 years. His primary focus is on in-home lessons, after-school courses, and summer camp programs in the southern Maine area. With a firm background in many genres, he has a deep understanding of many musical styles and has the ability to convey this knowledge to students in an efficient, fun, and insightful way.

Richard travels extensively throughout New England working as a studio musician and performs as a soloist and side man. He has shared the stage with many noteworthy artists, including Warren Haynes (The Allman Brothers), John Popper (Blues Traveler), Big & Rich, Miranda Lambert, Gretchen Wilson, Anne Murray, Greg Rzab (Buddy Guy’s band, The Black Crowes) and George Porter Jr. (The Meters).
