Richard Corson

Personal Experience

Richard has been a full-time guitar teacher since graduating from the University of Southern Maine in 2000. His primary focus is on in-home lessons, after-school courses, and summer camp programs in the southern Maine area. With a firm background in many genres, he has a deep understanding of all musical styles ands the ability to convey this knowledge to students in an efficient, fun, and insightful way.

Richard travels extensively throughout New England working as a studio musician and performs as a soloist and side man. He has shared the stage with many noteworthy artists, including Warren Haynes (The Allman Brothers), John Popper (Blues Traveler), Big & Rich, Miranda Lambert, Gretchen Wilson, Anne Murray, Greg Rzab (Buddy Guy’s band, The Black Crowes) and George Porter Jr. (The Meters).
